Job Title: Program Manager II

The California Governor's Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) is a leader in emergency management and homeland security. We are seeking an experienced Program Manager II to join our team.

About the Position:

  • We offer a competitive salary range of $93,824 - $144,774 per year, depending on experience.
  • This is a full-time position with a hybrid work schedule, including up to two days of remote work per week.
  • You will be based in Mather, CA, with occasional travel required.

About the Job:

As a Program Manager II, you will oversee the operations of the Office of International Affairs (OIA) and the Office of Tribal Coordination (OTC). This includes providing direct management oversight to staff, ensuring Cal OES goals and objectives are met, and collaborating with state, local, federal, tribal nations, non-governmental partners, and foreign countries on emergency management initiatives.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in program management, emergency management, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
