Primary Responsibilities

As a Senior Engineering Project Manager, you will be entrusted with the following responsibilities:

  • Oversee and guide multidisciplinary project teams, including external consultants, ensuring that quality and efficiency are prioritized.
  • Plan, direct, and evaluate all facets of complex engineering projects.
  • Develop and assess civil engineering project scopes and financial proposals.
  • Monitor and manage project budgets and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with various departments to assess project workload and staffing needs.
  • Serve as the Principal or Quality Control Reviewer on select projects.
  • Mentor and supervise team members, providing guidance to new hires as necessary.
  • Work with team members to set annual performance and development objectives.
  • Enhance team skills through training and professional development opportunities.
  • Engage in project engineering tasks as required.
  • Collaborate with management to identify future project opportunities and lead business development initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
  • Professional Engineering license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Extensive experience in civil engineering design and project management.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and strategic planning capabilities.
  • A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in project management software.
  • Active participation in professional engineering organizations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • 10 years of relevant experience.
  • At least 5 years in project management roles.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Experience with MS Office and project management tools.
  • Strong leadership and strategic planning skills.
  • A commitment to fostering a collaborative workplace culture.
