Key Responsibilities

As a Lead Architectural Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:
  • Leading a multidisciplinary team in the layout and detailing of architectural projects.
  • Overseeing all facets of complex small to medium projects or routine large projects.
  • Managing multiple small to medium projects simultaneously.
  • Facilitating work sessions for deliverable development alongside other staff and stakeholders.
  • Coordinating staffing and workload throughout the project lifecycle to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Organizing owner/client and internal meetings, and participating in reviews with governing agencies for code compliance.
  • Supervising team members' workloads through various phases to ensure timely document completion.
  • Reviewing architectural documents for conflicts across all disciplines.
  • Conducting QA/QC and technical reviews.
  • Drafting and editing architectural specifications.
  • Collaborating with affected disciplines on addenda, RFIs, CPRs, and change orders.
  • Incorporating agreed-upon changes into project documents.
  • Leading projects in a dual capacity as necessary.
  • Providing construction contract administration as required.
  • Performing additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a closely related field.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience.
• Registered Architect (Hawaii licensure preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project Schedule).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit and familiar with related tools and processes.
• Demonstrated graphic presentation skills.
• Experience in preparing and laying out architectural contract documents and specifications.
• Comprehensive knowledge of codes and effective planning skills.
• A commitment to actively participating in our employee-owned culture is essential.

Preferred

• Master's degree in Architecture.
• Experience with Federal projects, particularly in Pacific areas.
• Interest in sustainable design/LEED is desirable but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp, and 3-D Studio Max is a plus.
• Experience with Rhino and Grasshopper.

The expected compensation range for this position is $84,000 to $120,000 annually, depending on skills, experience, education, and geographical location.
