Job Summary:
The Coordinator of Educational Programs plays a vital role in facilitating professional health education initiatives for learners in the field of Radiology.

This role encompasses the management of program operations, which includes overseeing teaching and learning activities, developing program curricula, scheduling learners, maintaining essential databases, ensuring compliance, and managing program accreditation.

Key Responsibilities:
This position is tasked with the daily coordination of educational programs, necessitating sound judgment and the ability to make prompt yet thoughtful decisions that impact both trainees and faculty.

The fast-paced nature of the programs requires administrative decisions to be made swiftly and effectively.

Flexibility is crucial, as this role receives direction from multiple sources on a daily basis.

The Coordinator will support medical student rotations, independent interventional radiology fellowships, clinical fellowships, and staff educational initiatives within the Department of Radiology & Biomedical Imaging. This involves curriculum planning, data management, and course administration.

Specific duties include assisting program administrators, directors, and trainees with curriculum development, evaluations, compliance with accreditation standards, expense reimbursements, and general office administration.

The primary focus of this role is to act as the compliance coordinator for ACGME and GME requirements pertaining to trainees and educational programs.

Department Overview:
The Department of Radiology at UCSF is dedicated to managing the technological infrastructure that supports over 700,000 imaging studies each year.

Our team is responsible for the complete range of services from network management to application support and end-user assistance.

Support is provided Monday through Friday, with additional evening and weekend availability to meet the needs of the Medical Center.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- At least one year of related experience.
- Basic understanding of administrative analysis and operational research.
- Developing skills in process and system implementation.
- Familiarity with the administrative and operational aspects of educational programs.
- Strong communication skills, including verbal, written, and active listening.
- Service-oriented approach with responsiveness to inquiries.
- Ability to interact professionally and courteously with diverse individuals.
- Proven interpersonal skills and the ability to cultivate working relationships within the department and with learners.
- Exceptional organizational skills, analytical abilities, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Capacity to manage complex faculty schedules with precision. Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of relevant policies and regulatory frameworks.
- Understanding of the health professions education sector.
- Familiarity with educational technologies and systems, with troubleshooting capabilities.
- Skills in data analysis and reporting, including generating and verifying computer reports.
- Two years of experience in an administrative or operational capacity.
- Experience in organizing meetings, including travel logistics and expense management.
- Proficiency in drafting memoranda, correspondence, and reports with clear organization and proper grammar. About UCSF:
