Position Summary:

The International Studies Abroad Office plays a pivotal role in supporting undergraduate and graduate study abroad initiatives. The Program Coordinator will be the primary contact for international study programs, assisting approximately 1000 undergraduate students annually in their pursuit of global experiences. This role involves providing comprehensive, student-focused advising and coaching to facilitate successful international experiences aligned with academic goals. The Coordinator will collaborate with faculty to ensure that learning objectives for numerous courses offered abroad are met. Key responsibilities include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Development: Design and enhance international study experiences, ensuring accurate course evaluations and maintaining program quality through continuous assessment.
- Advising: Offer guidance across all majors, helping students navigate course requirements and financial aid processes while building strong advising relationships.
- Marketing and Outreach: Create inclusive marketing materials and participate in study abroad fairs to promote programs effectively.
- Collaboration: Work with international partners and stakeholders to streamline processes and address any arising issues.
- Budget Management: Oversee budgetary aspects of faculty-led programs, ensuring accurate financial tracking and reporting.
- On-Site Management: Serve as the main point of contact during overseas programs, managing logistics and addressing health and safety concerns.
