Position Overview:

The Coordinator of Educational Programs utilizes acquired expertise, procedural knowledge, and policy understanding to facilitate professional health education initiatives for learners.

This role involves overseeing program operations, which encompass instructional activities, curriculum development, learner scheduling, database management, compliance tracking, and program accreditation.

The incumbent is tasked with the daily coordination of educational programs, necessitating sound judgment and the capacity to make prompt yet informed decisions that impact both trainees and faculty.

Given the rapid pace of the activities/programs under this role, administrative decisions must often be made in real-time. The position requires direction from multiple sources, making adaptability essential for success.

This role will support medical student rotations, independent interventional radiology fellowships, clinical fellowships, and staff educational initiatives within the Department of Radiology & Biomedical Imaging, which includes curriculum planning, data analysis, and course administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist program administrators, directors, and trainees with curriculum development, evaluations, compliance with accreditation standards, expense reimbursements, and daily office management.
  • Serve as the compliance coordinator for ACGME and GME requirements for trainees and educational programs.

Salary Information:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience/training.
  • A minimum of one year of relevant experience.
  • Basic understanding of administrative analysis and operational research.
  • Effective communication skills, including verbal, written, and active listening.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal abilities and capacity to build relationships within the department and with learners.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with relevant policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge of educational technologies and systems.
  • Experience in data analysis and reporting.
  • Two years of experience in an administrative or operational capacity.
  • Prior experience in organizing meetings and managing logistics.
