PolyCon Solutions is on the lookout for a Lead Financial Analyst to provide essential support to our Federal clientele in the areas of fiscal management and project oversight. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in financial governance, assisting in the initiation, tracking, and evaluation of operational and administrative initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilizing Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) financial platforms, such as Delphi, PRISM, and REGIS, to manage funding documentation and ensure accuracy in planned and actual expenditures related to the program. This includes reconciling financial records in Delphi and REGIS.
- Delivering weekly reports on spending, projected costs, and validation of financial transactions.
- Conducting comprehensive cost and pricing analyses.
- Creating independent government cost estimates (IGCEs).
- Maintaining and updating burn rate trackers.
- Forecasting funding needs, monitoring financial resources, and preparing budget proposals.
- Reviewing vendor invoices and making informed payment recommendations.
- Preparing purchase requisitions (PRs).
- Collaborating with Program Managers and senior management to provide updates on fund status, including research, planning, report generation, and advisory services.
- Generating financial reports using MS Excel, employing tools such as VLOOKUP formulas and pivot tables.
- Assisting in the tracking and analysis of monthly financial data for FAA managers, including anticipated expenses.
- Formulating plans, timelines, and resource estimates, tracking action items, and updating project documentation.
Qualifications:
- Proven expertise in budget and financial management and analysis is essential.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including VLOOKUP formulas and Pivot Tables.
- Prior experience working with the FAA or similar federal entities is preferred.
- Demonstrated familiarity with FAA financial systems, specifically PRISM and Delphi.
- Experience in drafting IGCEs and PRs is required.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with the REGIS financial system is advantageous.
Education and Experience:
- A Bachelor's Degree coupled with 8-10 years of relevant experience is required.
Travel Requirements:
- Minimal travel expected (0-10%).
