Position: Lunch & Recess Program Facilitator


Schedule: Part-time, Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 9:10am - 12:10pm
Location: Various school sites
Compensation: $19/hour

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Facilitate structured games and activities in accordance with the Elevo curriculum.
  • Engage students in sports, games, and various recreational activities.
  • Support the behavioral management needs of children.
  • Collaborate effectively with school administrators, teachers, and fellow coaches.
  • Lead outdoor lessons aimed at fostering enthusiasm for learning.
  • Act as a positive role model, enhancing students' self-esteem and emotional well-being.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Experience working with elementary and/or middle school students.
  • Ability to manage groups of up to 20 students independently.
  • Capability to improvise, adapt, and take initiative as required.
  • Approachable, empathetic, and patient, with the ability to build trust with children.
  • Present yourself as a confident leader and positive role model.
  • Connect with students to create positive learning experiences.
  • Pay close attention to student needs and adjust activities accordingly.
  • Ensure activities are conducted smoothly and efficiently within designated timeframes.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Eligibility to work in the United States, completion of a Live-Scan background check, and TB screening.
  • 1-2 years of experience in education, coaching, child development, or related fields preferred.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary.
  • Willingness to adhere to COVID-19 protocols as outlined by the school.
