The Graduate Admissions Specialist is responsible for compiling, assessing, and managing both paper and digital applications for our graduate business programs; performing data entry into our online applicant database; and generating a variety of admissions-related communications, including interview invitations and admission letters.

This role involves engaging with prospective students from diverse academic, cultural, national, and socioeconomic backgrounds. The Specialist provides guidance to potential applicants and admitted students regarding available graduate programs, application requirements, deadlines, and more.

Additionally, the Specialist actively supports applicants through the admissions process, clarifying documentation requirements and onboarding procedures.

Responsibilities may include evaluating application essays, conducting interviews, and assessing candidates' backgrounds and future academic or career aspirations to effectively advocate for them during the admissions review process.

The role utilizes a Customer/Client Relationship Management (CRM) System to facilitate communication with interested candidates and generate reports from this database.

The Specialist ensures that candidate interactions and information are accurately recorded in the CRM system.

Moreover, the position aids in organizing logistics for Admissions events such as information sessions, campus tours, recruitment events, and other related activities.

This role also involves maintaining web-based databases for managing email campaigns, including event invitations and RSVPs. The Specialist collaborates closely with other members of the Graduate Programs Office and various stakeholders as needed.

In addition, the position provides comprehensive administrative support, including document creation and editing, data entry into spreadsheets and databases, scheduling meetings, and coordinating large mailings to support Recruitment & Admissions initiatives.

The full salary range for the Graduate Admissions Specialist position is $56,000 - $96,400 annually.

Salary offers are determined based on various factors, including education, experience, and organizational needs.

Applicants must possess valid work authorization when accepting a position at UCR.

As a University employee, compliance with all applicable University policies and collective bargaining agreements is required.

Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements.

Qualifications:
Educational Requirements
