Position Summary:

Gary Anderson Graduate School of Management, offering a range of graduate programs including MBA, Ph.D., Professional MBA, Master of Professional Accountancy (MPAc), Master of Science in Business Analytics, and Master of Finance (MFin).

As a pivotal role within the Graduate Programs Office, the Graduate Admissions Specialist is tasked with the comprehensive management of graduate business program applications. This includes the meticulous assembly, evaluation, and processing of both paper and digital applications, alongside data entry into our applicant management system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate various admissions-related correspondence, including interview invitations and letters of admission.
  • Engage with prospective students from diverse backgrounds, providing guidance on available programs, application criteria, and deadlines.
  • Coach applicants through the admissions process, clarifying documentation requirements and onboarding activities.
  • Evaluate application essays, conduct interviews, and assess candidates' academic and career aspirations to effectively represent them to the admissions committee.
  • Utilize the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System to maintain communication with interested candidates and generate analytical reports.
  • Assist in organizing and executing recruitment events, including information sessions and campus tours.
  • Provide administrative support, including document creation, data management, and meeting coordination to facilitate recruitment and admissions activities.

The full salary range for this position is $56,000 to $96,400 annually, with offers determined by a variety of factors including education, experience, and organizational needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 4 years of related experience, particularly with diverse student populations.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with an emphasis on diplomacy and tact.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and CRM systems.
  • Familiarity with university policies and academic programs.
