ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Facilitate structured games and activities aligned with the Elevo curriculum for groups of students.
- Engage students in sports, games, and various activities to promote active participation.
- Support students' behavioral management needs effectively.
- Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and fellow coaches to ensure a cohesive program.
- Lead outdoor lessons that enhance students' enthusiasm for learning.
- Act as a positive role model, fostering self-esteem and emotional wellness among students.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Experience working successfully with elementary and/or middle school students.
- Ability to manage groups of up to 20 students independently.
- Capable of improvising, adapting, and taking initiative as needed.
- Approachable, empathetic, and patient, with the ability to build trust with children.
- Present yourself as a confident leader and positive role model.
- Connect with students to create positive learning experiences.
- Pay attention to student needs and adjust activities accordingly.
- Ensure activities are conducted smoothly and efficiently within designated timeframes.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Eligibility to work in the United States, completion of a Live-Scan background check, and TB screening.
- 1-2 years of experience in education, coaching, child development, or related fields is preferred.
- Reliable transportation is necessary.
- Willingness to adhere to COVID-19 protocols as outlined by the school.
