Job Summary

SOME, Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Service Coordinator to support front desk operations at our main campus in NW Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong ability to multitask, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and register clients, directing them to the appropriate service
  • Answer and direct phone calls, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor
  • Maintain provider schedules and verify medical insurance eligibility
  • Regulate traffic flow in the waiting area and front desk to ensure HIPAA compliance
  • Scan registration and referral forms into the electronic health record system
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; 2+ years of work experience and 1+ year of administrative experience in a Primary Care or Acute Care office preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
  • Knowledge of electronic health records management and medical terminology
