MedStar Health is seeking a skilled Patient Service Coordinator to provide exceptional customer service to patients in a fast-paced medical environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Serve as the initial point of contact for patients, greeting them with a warm and professional demeanor.
  • Manage patient intake, screen for emergent conditions, and verify demographic and insurance information.
  • Perform check-in and check-out procedures, inputting patient charges and verifying information.
  • Coordinate efficient patient flow through the practice or hospital department.
  • Support organizational initiatives related to new technology, clinical programs, and improving the patient experience.

**Requirements:**

  • 6 months to 1 year of experience in providing high-quality customer service, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Working knowledge of IDX/GE Centricity business software.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • CPR Certification.
