Job Description

Brock11 is seeking a highly skilled Technical Territory Sales Manager to join their team. This role is responsible for ensuring technical excellence in the installation of waterproof deck coatings in Northern California.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of hands-on technical competency in the application of construction trades, specifically waterproofing, roofing, and/or envelope. They will be responsible for creating, building, and maintaining relationships with current and prospective customers, and assisting them in growing their decking waterproofing business substantially through technical expertise.

The Technical Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for the following:

  • Working personally with distributors, architects, applicators, and all current and potential customers.
  • Developing contacts and prospects that ensure long-term profitability.
  • Increasing territory sales and profitability through existing accounts and new development.
  • Identifying and communicating necessary changes in regulations and industry standards in specific territories.
  • Evaluating customer needs/issues and providing solutions.
  • Teaching, demonstrating, and training existing and new customers.
  • Verifying spec compliancy by all applicators.
  • Providing necessary auxiliary on-site technical support as needed by the company and customers.
  • Keeping distributors engaged and producing leads and support.
  • Maintaining professional and technical knowledge of products, their specifications, and safe handling.
  • Pursuing training and development opportunities, striving to continuously build knowledge and skills.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
  • Maintaining a consistently high level of performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Participating in special projects as assigned.
  • Contributing to a team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of knowledge and hands-on experience in the application of construction trades, specifically waterproofing, roofing, and/or envelope.
  • Proven track record of hands-on technical competency from initial contact through the completion of the project.
