Administrative Coordinator

St. Catherine Laboure Church 0212 is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the Office of Religious Education. The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of Religious Education to ensure the smooth operation of the Faith Formation program.
Key Responsibilities- Administrative Support
- Provide administrative assistance to the Director of Religious Education, including maintaining documents, records, and databases.
- Ensure compliance with diocesan guidelines and procedures.
- Program Coordination
- Support the planning and execution of special events, sacraments, and retreats.
- Assist with communication and marketing efforts, including mailings, email, and website updates.
- Child Protection and Safety
- Serve as the Child Protection Coordinator for the Parish, ensuring compliance with diocesan guidelines.
- Office Operations
- Perform clerical and secretarial duties, including receptionist responsibilities.
- Develop and maintain a master calendar for the Faith Formation program.
- Qualifications
- Confirmed and practicing member of the Catholic Church.
- Experience with a Faith Formation or religious education program.
- Interest in training as a Virtus/Child Protection Coordinator.
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office software products.
- Flexible work schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual – English/Spanish.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced office environment, requiring strong organizational and communication skills. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
