Work Schedule:
Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (30-minute lunch break).

Location:
Onsite work is required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct intricate design tasks for the Engineering Department, acting as a technical authority in the formulation and development of advanced engineering and design concepts.
  • Establish Engineering Standards for Electrical, Instrumentation, and Control (EI&C) equipment procurement and installation.
  • Define project parameters by identifying objectives, selecting technical methodologies, and providing support to business units.
  • Plan projects by drafting specifications, creating timelines, and identifying enhancements to existing processes.
  • Oversee the execution of EI&C Capital Projects, ensuring compliance with budgetary constraints and industry standards.
  • Implement projects by tracking performance, executing corrective measures, and providing feedback to project teams.
  • Resolve technical challenges related to projects and maintain accurate reporting data for business units.
  • Upgrade, design, configure, and monitor relevant equipment and performance metrics.
  • Analyze components, systems, processes, and economic factors related to refinery operations.
  • Ensure the integrity and maintenance of business unit data.
  • Design EI&C equipment for chemical plants and develop processes for chemical manufacturing.
  • Conduct research to innovate and enhance process control methodologies.
  • Design and strategize layouts for EI&C on a commercial scale.
  • Investigate and address work-in-progress issues.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of eight years of progressive experience in electrical, instrumentation, and controls, with a focus on controls engineering and power distribution.
  • Preferred experience in the refinery or petrochemical sectors.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience is required.

  • Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of engineering principles.
  • Ability to stay updated on technological advancements and processes.
  • Technical expertise in the relevant specialty area.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced mathematical skills for complex calculations.
