TNC Community is seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Executive Officer to lead the organization in its mission to provide comprehensive support services to individuals and families affected by mental health challenges. The CEO will work closely with the Board of Directors, staff, and community partners to enhance the organization's impact and effectiveness.

Position Overview

The Board of Directors is looking for an innovative and skilled leader to assume the role of CEO. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Implementing the strategic vision and policies set forth by the Board.
  • Overseeing the daily operations to ensure services are accessible and coordinated.
  • Managing the organization's programs and making key executive decisions.
  • Delegating responsibilities to appropriate staff members to promote efficiency.
  • Collaborating with other organizations to enhance service delivery.
  • Negotiating partnerships and agreements that align with the organization's goals.
  • Ensuring financial stability and sustainability of the organization.
  • Setting short-term and long-term objectives in collaboration with the Board.
  • Providing regular updates on organizational performance to stakeholders.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Leading the executive team in making significant organizational decisions.
  • Fostering a culture of communication and collaboration among staff.
  • Encouraging program development and evaluation to meet community needs.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with funders and community partners.
  • Representing the organization to various stakeholders.

Qualifications and Attributes

The ideal candidate will possess:

  1. A minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in a relevant field.
  2. Exceptional communication and public speaking skills.
  3. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to empathize with diverse populations.
  4. A visionary mindset with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  5. Experience navigating complex policy environments.
  6. A deep understanding of mental health services and community needs.

Education and Experience Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • Strong managerial skills and leadership experience.

  • A thorough understanding of financial management practices.
  • Significant experience in leadership roles within community service organizations.
  • An advanced degree in a relevant field is preferred.
