Are you driven by the challenge of crafting compelling marketing strategies and enhancing customer interaction? We are looking for a vibrant and motivated Marketing Specialist - Food Sector to join our central marketing division.

In this position, you will be instrumental in designing and executing multi-channel marketing initiatives both in-store and externally, with the goal of increasing customer traffic, member participation, and overall sales performance.

Collaborating with our energetic and diverse marketing team, and supporting the Marketing Manager, your focus will be on developing and implementing customer-focused marketing approaches that align with our food retail and community business objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

- Strategizing, coordinating, and executing marketing initiatives across various channels including digital, print, in-store promotions, and events – ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery of campaigns.

- Partnering with internal and external designers, agencies, and printers to manage the creation and distribution of all marketing materials.
- Analyzing market and customer trends along with competitor activities to inform effective marketing actions that drive in-store sales.
- Assisting the Marketing Manager in executing marketing strategies for food store openings, closures, and renovations.
- Ensuring that marketing communications to stores are engaging, effective, and timely, in collaboration with the Food Retail Communications team.

This role is part of a team operating from our central office, with a blend of remote and in-office work.

Who Are We Looking For? To excel in this role, you should:
- Have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a marketing environment.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Have familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms, including Social Media, CRM, and Web Analytics, which is advantageous.
- Possess the ability to manage budgets effectively.
- Have an understanding of trends within the Food Retail industry.
- Be willing to travel nationally with a valid driver's license.
