Avionics Systems Specialist
HX5, a leading provider of engineering and technical services, is seeking an experienced Avionics Systems Specialist to join our team at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. As a key member of our Mobility Directorate, you will be responsible for supporting the development, test, and sustainment of airborne vehicles' controls and displays subsystems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review technical documents to ensure compliance with specifications and airworthiness requirements.
- Support technical interchange meetings to discuss updates and upgrades in controls and displays, data buses, and data recording equipment.
- Apply knowledge to review associated equipment airworthiness reports in accordance with AFPD 62-6 USAF Airworthiness requirements.
- Collaborate with program offices to communicate results and recommended changes.
Requirements:
- 5 years of DoD experience in the technical profession.
- One of the following combinations of education and experience: Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-Accredited program and 15 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree in engineering from an ABET-Accredited program and 12 years of relevant experience.
