Position Overview

Objective:

The Triage Specialist I plays a crucial role in evaluating and delivering immediate support services to individuals experiencing crises. This position involves collaboration with a diverse team of professionals to guarantee that clients receive the necessary care and assistance. Accurate documentation and effective communication with team members are essential components of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and respond to urgent crisis situations with appropriate interventions.
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care for clients.
  • Timely completion of all required documentation and reports.
  • Provide direction to law enforcement and other service providers regarding crisis management protocols.
  • Maintain thorough records of all client interactions in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Engage in ongoing training and educational opportunities to remain informed about best practices in crisis intervention.
  • Assist in the formulation of individualized Care Plans for clients.
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications:

  • Possess a Behavioral Health Care Manager II certification or a Bachelor's/Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
  • A minimum of two years of experience working with varied populations.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Completion of all mandatory training sessions is required.
  • Experience in community service and health organizations is preferred.
