Position Overview

Summary:

The Triage Specialist I plays a crucial role in evaluating and delivering crisis intervention services to individuals facing urgent situations. This position involves collaboration with a diverse team of professionals to guarantee that clients receive the necessary care and assistance. Accurate documentation and effective communication with team members are essential components of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and respond to crisis scenarios with appropriate interventions
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care for clients
  • Timely completion of all required documentation
  • Provide expert guidance to law enforcement and other stakeholders regarding crisis intervention protocols
  • Maintain detailed records of all interactions in accordance with established guidelines
  • Engage in ongoing training and educational opportunities to remain informed about best practices
  • Assist in the formulation of individualized Care Plans for clients
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Possess a Behavioral Health Care Manager II certification or hold a Bachelor's/Master's degree in a relevant discipline
  • A minimum of two years of experience working with varied populations
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Completion of all mandatory training sessions
  • Experience in community service and health organizations is preferred
