Job Overview

The Office Administrative Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting management with various administrative duties. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, procurement, data management, document organization, and more. This position requires a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with customers, visitors, and colleagues.

Compensation: The hourly wage for this role ranges from $30 to $35, influenced by factors such as the applicant's qualifications, relevant degrees and certifications, previous experience, market trends, and other pertinent considerations. Additional compensation may be available in the form of bonuses or commissions, if applicable. This reflects Aramark's good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position at the time of posting.

If selected, the employee will hold an 'at-will position,' and Aramark retains the right to adjust base salary and any other discretionary compensation at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to individual performance, departmental performance, and market conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform administrative tasks such as mail distribution, supply ordering, and visitor reception.
  • Assist management with clerical functions related to finance, payroll, receiving, and human resources, including filing, data entry, and record maintenance.
  • Welcome customers, clients, and staff; respond to inquiries or redirect calls as necessary.
  • Maintain office communications and informational postings.
  • Utilize technology, systems, and software, including voicemail systems, copiers/scanners, personal computers, and MS Office applications.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in an administrative role is preferred.
  • The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy are critical.
  • Frequent repetitive hand and arm motions may be required.
