The Office Administration Specialist serves as the initial point of contact for clients and visitors, both via telephone and in person.

This role also entails providing essential administrative assistance to the Housing Department.



ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND COMPETENCIES:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in front office, administrative, or reception roles, ideally in a client-facing environment.
  • High School Diploma or GED is mandatory; a Bachelor's degree in Human Services or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Proficient in reading and writing in standard English.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capable of drafting various forms of communication, including memos, emails, reports, and other correspondence.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Adept at working independently, managing multiple tasks, and prioritizing effectively.
  • Ability to engage with a diverse range of audiences.
  • Exhibits cultural awareness and sensitivity towards individuals facing multiple challenges.
  • Demonstrates the ability to perform well under pressure.
  • Self-sufficient with minimal supervision.
  • Experience working with diverse ethnic groups is advantageous.
  • Experience in the non-profit sector is highly desirable.


COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
