Position Overview:

The Administrative Support Specialist provides essential clerical assistance to various departments within Rylem Staffing. This role involves close collaboration with departmental personnel and other corporate teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a high volume of incoming calls from clients and external stakeholders
  • Conduct data entry and computer-related tasks, and may assist with call coverage as necessary
  • Prepare electronic mailings for external clients
  • Receive, log, and distribute inquiries directed to the unit
  • Availability to work additional hours and weekends as required
  • Perform other assigned tasks to support Open Enrollment activities

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of six months experience in a general office setting or relevant training in basic office procedures
  • Typing speed of 30 words per minute with 95% accuracy; proficiency in 10-key
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Proficient in operating office equipment, including computers, copiers, and fax machines
  • Demonstrated telephone etiquette and courtesy
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions
  • Strong alpha and numeric filing skills
  • Dependable and responsible with general office skills, basic math proficiency, and a positive attitude
  • Familiarity with standard office software, including Microsoft Word and Excel, is advantageous
  • Ability to collaborate within a team environment and interact effectively with all levels of staff
