Job Overview

The primary objective of this role is to strategically bolster and plan for the financial robustness of the organization through comprehensive analysis, innovative strategies, cost-efficient methodologies, precise budgeting, and effective monitoring, alongside accurate accounting practices and insightful reporting for informed decision-making and benchmarking.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage in the month-end and year-end closing processes for the organization and its subsidiaries.
  • Oversee and reconcile daily bank account transactions.
  • Gather and evaluate financial data to prepare journal entries for accounts, including general ledger accounts, while documenting business transactions.
  • Review, scrutinize, or analyze accounting records, financial documents, or other financial reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to reporting and procedural standards.
  • Prepare and maintain reconciliations for balance sheet items such as cash, accounts receivable, fixed assets, prepaid expenses, and accruals, including investigating any unusual variances and unexpected activities.
  • Assist in the development of annual budgets and prepare periodic reports comparing budgeted costs to actual expenditures.
  • Analyze financial, sales, and activity reports or other performance metrics to evaluate productivity and goal attainment, or to identify areas requiring cost reduction or process enhancement.
  • Support quarterly and year-end financial audit processes.
  • Collaborate with management by contributing to various projects.
  • Safeguard the organization's value by maintaining confidentiality of information.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in process optimization, employee development, and establishing effective policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting requirements.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
