Currently, we are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Activity Security Representative II to support our operations.
The primary responsibility of the Activity Security Representative is to deliver comprehensive security assistance to the organization and its facilities. This role encompasses daily support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Program (SAP) operations.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting classification assessments of incoming and outgoing communications.
- Assisting in the upkeep of a document accountability system and related correspondence.
- Managing the processing of classified mail and maintaining receipt records.
- Overseeing the destruction of classified documents.
- Ensuring accountability for magnetic media.
- Providing reproduction support for classified materials.
- Maintaining daily logs for various administrative tasks related to document control.
- Facilitating the processing of incoming data and outbound data transfer files.
- Transferring electronic data files to internal stakeholders.
- Maintaining a comprehensive database of customer contacts.
- Assisting with the management of inbound and outbound visit notifications.
- Escorting visitors and keeping associated logs.
- Supporting the preparation of facility access control badges.
- Conducting entry and exit inspections.
- Assisting in the management of facility access control systems, including visitor management.
- Performing data entry into the Personnel Access Security System database and maintaining all personnel access information.
- Supporting the maintenance of personnel security files for all individuals within the supported unit.
- Adhering to and enforcing established Standard Operating Procedures.
- Providing assistance for security awareness and training initiatives.
- Carrying out various administrative support tasks as directed by the site lead or Government Security Representative.
- Monitoring security clearance processing activities in collaboration with government personnel.
- Participating in security compliance inspections for government entities and industry.
- Implementing Top Secret Control for accountable materials and related correspondence.
- Preparing and processing classified mail, faxes, courier packages, and receipts.
- Reviewing Program Access Requests (PARs) for accuracy and eligibility.
- Executing Special Access Program Nomination Process Questionnaires.
- Conducting reviews of candidates for SAP access in various databases.
- Maintaining current personnel access information in the Joint Access Database (JADE).
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (4 years) in lieu of a degree.
- At least 6 years of relevant experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of direct experience with SCI or SAR programs.
- Completion of DoD SAPCO approved SAPNP training within six months of contract commencement (if performing SAP personnel security functions).
- Familiarity with SIMS database or completion of training within six months (if performing document control functions).
- Completion of JPAS training within six months (if performing SCI personnel security functions).
- Completion of Joint Access Database Environment (JADE) training within six months (if performing SAP personnel security functions).
- Knowledge of security policies/manuals and relevant ICDs/JAFANs/DOD Manuals.
- U.S. Citizenship is required
- Must possess a TS/SCI or Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- Eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information
- Willingness to undergo a Counterintelligence polygraph examination.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and effectively collaborate with various DOD, military/civilian personnel, and industry partners.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Demonstrated originality, creativity, and initiative with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to travel within the organizational Area of Responsibility (AOR).
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to remain stationary for 50% of the time.
- Occasional movement within the office to access files and equipment.
- Frequent operation of computers and office machinery.
- Regular communication with colleagues, management, and clients, requiring accurate information exchange.
The projected compensation range for this position is $79,300-$133,100, influenced by factors such as contract wage determination, relevant experience, skills, geographic location, education, and certifications. ManTech also offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, life insurance, paid time off, retirement savings, and professional development opportunities.
