Currently, we are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Activity Security Representative II to support our operations.
The primary responsibility of the Activity Security Representative is to deliver comprehensive security assistance to the organization. This role encompasses daily support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Program (SAP) activities.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting classification assessments of incoming and outgoing communications.
- Assisting in the upkeep of a document accountability system and related correspondence.
- Managing the processing of classified mail and maintaining receipt records.
- Overseeing the destruction of classified documents.
- Handling magnetic media for accountability purposes.
- Providing reproduction support for classified materials.
- Maintaining various daily logs for administrative functions related to document control.
- Facilitating the processing of data transfers.
- Transferring electronic files to internal stakeholders.
- Maintaining a comprehensive database of customer contacts.
- Assisting with the research, processing, and filing of visit notices.
- Escorting visitors and keeping accurate logs.
- Supporting the preparation of access control badges.
- Conducting entry and exit inspections.
- Assisting in the management of access control systems.
- Performing data entry into the Personnel Access Security System database.
- Maintaining personnel security files for all relevant personnel.
- Adhering to and enforcing established Standard Operating Procedures.
- Supporting security awareness and educational initiatives.
- Executing various administrative tasks as directed by leadership.
- Monitoring security clearance processing activities with government personnel.
- Participating in compliance inspections related to Air Force SAP security.
- Implementing Top Secret Control for accountable materials.
- Preparing and processing classified communications and packages.
- Reviewing Program Access Requests (PARs) for accuracy.
- Executing Special Access Program Nomination Process Questionnaires.
- Conducting reviews of candidates for SAP access.
- Performing data entry and record checks in the Joint Access Database (JADE).
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- At least 6 years of experience in security operations.
- A minimum of 3 years of direct experience with SCI or SAR programs.
- Completion of DoD SAPCO approved training within six months of contract commencement.
- Familiarity with SIMS database or completion of training within six months.
- Completion of JPAS training within six months.
- Knowledge of security policies and relevant manuals.
- U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
- Must possess a TS/SCI or Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information is required.
- Willingness to undergo a Counterintelligence polygraph examination.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and effectively collaborate with DOD and industry personnel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Demonstrated originality, creativity, and initiative with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to travel within the organizational Area of Responsibility.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to remain stationary for 50% of the time.
- Occasional movement within the office to access files and equipment.
- Frequent operation of office machinery and computers.
- Regular communication with colleagues and clients, requiring accurate information exchange.
The projected compensation range for this position is $79,300-$133,100, influenced by factors such as relevant experience, skills, geographic location, and education. ManTech also offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and professional development opportunities.
