Associate Manager, Middle Office Operations Specialist

As an Associate Manager, Middle Office Operations, you will play a critical role in supporting our hedge fund clients engaged in various investment strategies.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide operational support to hedge fund clients, including real estate investment trusts, private equity, global macro, fixed income, mortgage, credit, distressed, long/short, risk/stat/arbitrage, emerging markets, and fund of funds.
- Build and maintain client relationships, serving as a liaison between clients and prime brokers/counterparties.
- Support middle and back office operations for various products, including equities, fixed income, swaps, contract for differences, futures, commodities, options, FX, mortgages, and repos.
- Address and research cash/position/market value reconciliation exceptions.
- Interact with internal SS&C GlobeOp departments, including Fund Accounting, Operations, Investor Services, and IT.
- Process wires related to settlements and collateral.
- Run cash reports and confirm payments with counterparties.
- Report on volume, errors, and other metrics.
- Train and mentor junior members.
- Bachelor's degree in business/finance or related field.
- 3+ years' experience in back office operations, preferably with a prime broker, administrator, hedge fund, mutual fund, investment advisor, or financial/retirement planner.
- Prior experience with various products, including equities, fixed income, repurchase agreements, futures, FX, mortgages, options, and corporate actions.
- Prior experience with OTC products is a must.
- Middle/back office experience covering trade settlements, fail control, reconciliation of trade discrepancies, and client servicing.
- Strong MS Excel skills.
- Prior experience working in a client service environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
