Job Overview

We are seeking a Warranty Program Manager to build and lead our warranty program. In this role, you will work closely across our customers, service and repair depot teams to document, manage and report on claims with a goal of operating a seamless customer experience. You will track and use data to identify emerging trends, establish a warranty program budget and contribute to the overall service and support strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Program Creation: Develop an asset-based warranty program, profit and loss statement, and team structure to ensure effective warranty management.
  • Communication: Provide regular updates of all warranty metrics to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Record Keeping and Claim Management: Work with customers, suppliers, and our finance team to process claims and reimbursements, maintaining accurate service records as required.
  • Recall and Service Bulletin Awareness: Stay informed of all factory recalls and service bulletins across our three vessel platforms, ensuring compliance and minimizing warranty claims.
  • Process and Policy Creation: Develop warranty-related policies, procedures, work instructions, and promote adherence to each, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvement to reduce warranty claims in line with business objectives across our base of operational vessels.
  • Design for Scale: Manage warranty operations to ensure scalability for future growth, aligning with Saronic's strategic goals.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience leading a service and/or warranty team, with a proven track record of success.
  • Familiarity with supporting and servicing maritime powertrain and control systems, with a strong understanding of warranty management principles.
  • Experience working with customer relationship management (CRM) systems, such as Salesforce, to manage warranty claims and customer interactions.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze complex numerical and financial data, with a focus on identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Able to balance daily operational requirements with longer-term strategic focus, prioritizing tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Travel occasionally with advanced notice, with a willingness to adapt to changing business needs.
