Volkswagen Warranty Administrator Job Description

Vanguard Volkswagen of North Austin is seeking a highly skilled Warranty Administrator to join our team. As a Warranty Administrator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warranty claims process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and process warranty repair orders to ensure accuracy and compliance with manufacturer policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with service advisors, service directors, and technicians to ensure all necessary diagnostic forms are included with repair orders.
  • Determine and enter applicable labor operation codes, failure codes, and administrative data required on repair orders.
  • Ensure all deductibles are properly documented and collected from customers at the time of repair completion.
  • Review and prepare repair orders for resubmission in the event of rejected warranty claims.
  • Strive to maintain a minimum warranty claims acceptance rate of 95% and no more than 10 days of warranty receivables.
Requirements:
  • Two years of previous automotive or administrative work experience.
  • Detail-oriented with strong computer and analytical skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
