Position Summary

The selected candidate will be pivotal in identifying and securing opportunities for WaaS contracts across various markets, primarily in the Southeast region. This role demands a strategic mindset and a deep understanding of the water treatment landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess current assets and future projects that could leverage our WaaS offerings for both municipal and industrial clients.
  • Engage with potential clients to advocate for the SSW Group's WaaS approach, establishing a competitive edge.
  • Identify and connect with key decision-makers to formulate effective strategies.
  • Familiarize yourself with state legislation that enables public entities to enter into long-term agreements.
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients during the project development phase, ensuring a strategic advantage for SSW Group.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development team, engineering, finance, and legal departments to create compelling project proposals.
Qualifications

Essential Skills:

  • A motivated individual with a proven track record in identifying and closing projects.
  • Demonstrated success in sales within a related industry.
  • Understanding of municipal government dynamics and utility decision-making processes.
  • Ability to identify and engage key stakeholders in both municipal and industrial sectors.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent presentation abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and capable of developing project-specific business development strategies.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
Education and Experience

Preferred Background:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in technical sales, with a preference for candidates with P3 project experience.
  • Experience in the water, wastewater, and desalination sectors, particularly in selling WaaS solutions.
  • Familiarity with the specified regions and established relationships in the industry are highly valued.
