Job Summary

The Strategic Business Development Leader will be responsible for overseeing the development of investments through various extensions, as well as identifying new opportunities in greenfield and brownfield projects or relevant acquisitions. This role requires close cooperation with the HQ team to support the successful delivery of projects in the pipeline by enabling cross-functional teams to execute in a coordinated manner.

Key Responsibilities

Create development strategies for each investment to maximize their sales potential
Identify and understand the trucking market, as well as more distant markets that can be reached by rail and/or barge on investments
Perform ongoing analysis of the economic, demographic, and competitive landscape of current and potential markets
Identify new opportunities and build strong business cases to justify new investments
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, efficiency, and entrepreneurship as the team grows in the United States
Maintain knowledge of the business in the United States and monitor the latest industry news and trends
Drive the smooth integration of new businesses into the company's existing value chain

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field
+10 years of proven success in the cement industry, preferably in business development, strategic planning, sales, or marketing
Strong analytical and business acumen skills
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely, and to work effectively with cross-functional teams and diverse cultural backgrounds
