Job Overview

Position Title: ERP Deputy Project Manager

Summary: The Project Management Office (PMO) at ITR is in search of a Deputy Project Manager to assist in the planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure of the ERP Project aimed at transitioning the current SAP ECC framework to SAP S/4HANA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulates and oversees Project Management Plans (PMP), Configuration Management Plans, work breakdown structures, and project scheduling.
  • Leads and directs intricate matrixed project teams, ensuring timely delivery within defined scope and budget while maintaining quality standards.
  • Facilitates project communication plans, succinctly summarizes project status, and collaborates with project leads, sponsors, and IT leadership.
  • Identifies and analyzes project risks, providing consultation on mitigation strategies.
  • Evaluates project risks and issues, implements corrective measures, and executes necessary baseline adjustments.
  • Promotes project management best practices by offering insights, recommendations, and support to business and IT personnel.
  • Prepares and delivers presentations and reports, articulating recommendations and findings related to project matters.
  • Advances ITR's mission by aligning actions and priorities with core values of Impact, Integrity, Teamwork, Safety, and Service, while fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in project management, computer science, business management, information systems, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant project management experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership capacity, along with a solid understanding of IT systems.
  • Proven experience in IT project management, particularly in application development and significant technology deployments.
  • Familiarity with modern software development lifecycle methodologies, including Agile.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of PMI/PMBOK Process Groups and hands-on experience with Integration, scope, time, cost, communication, risk, and stakeholder management.
  • Extensive experience with project planning and management tools, focusing on scope organization, deliverables definition, detailed scheduling, budgeting, and change control.
  • Experience with SAP ERP systems (SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA) across various business functions such as Supply Chain Management and Procure-to-Pay.
  • Advanced degree in project management, business management, computer science, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) are advantageous.
  • Experience with IT-specific project management methodologies, including Agile.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments with minimal supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal skills in a collaborative environment, engaging effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Excellent communication skills across all organizational levels, including executive management.
  • Capability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances.
