Job Overview

Position Title: ERP Deputy Project Manager

Summary: The Project Management Office (PMO) at ITR is seeking a Deputy Project Manager to assist in the strategic planning, execution, oversight, and conclusion of the ERP Project aimed at transitioning the current SAP ECC framework to SAP S/4HANA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulates and oversees Project Management Plans (PMP), Configuration Management Plans, and work breakdown structures, ensuring effective project scheduling.
  • Leads and coordinates intricate project teams, ensuring timely delivery within defined scope and budget while maintaining quality standards.
  • Facilitates communication plans for projects, succinctly summarizing project status and engaging with various stakeholders including project leads and management teams.
  • Identifies and evaluates project risks, providing strategic consultation on mitigation approaches.
  • Monitors project challenges and implements corrective measures, adjusting project baselines as necessary.
  • Promotes project management best practices by offering insights and guidance to both business and IT personnel, enhancing overall project management proficiency.
  • Prepares and delivers reports and presentations, articulating recommendations and findings related to project matters.
  • Contributes to ITR's mission by aligning actions and priorities with core values such as Impact, Integrity, Teamwork, Safety, and Service. Advocates for diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility in the workplace.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in project management, computer science, business management, information systems, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant project management experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership capacity, possessing a solid understanding of IT systems.
  • Proven experience in IT project execution, particularly in application development and significant technology deployments.
  • Familiarity with contemporary software development lifecycle methodologies, including Agile.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of PMI/PMBOK Process Groups and hands-on experience in Integration, scope, time, cost, communication, risk, and stakeholder management.
  • Extensive experience with project planning and management tools, focusing on scope organization, deliverables definition, detailed scheduling, resource allocation, budgeting, and change control.
  • Experience with SAP ERP systems (SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA) across various business functions including Supply Chain Management and Procure-to-Pay.
  • Advanced degree in project management, business management, computer science, information systems, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or equivalent are advantageous.
  • Experience with Agile project management methodologies and Software Development Lifecycle rigor.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments with minimal supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration in a matrix environment with diverse individuals.
  • Excellent communication skills across all organizational levels, including executive management.
  • Capability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances.
