Account Executive

The Account Manager plays a pivotal role in fostering strong relationships with clients, driving business growth, and ensuring seamless account management. This position requires a unique blend of sales acumen, customer service expertise, and strategic thinking to identify new opportunities and optimize sales potential.
Key Responsibilities:- Order Fulfillment: Ensure timely and accurate processing of orders, meeting customer requirements and expectations.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Trusted Advisor: Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, stakeholders, and executive sponsors, providing valuable insights and guidance.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profitability and drive business growth.
- Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing accounts, driving revenue growth and expansion.
- Sales Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to identify and grow opportunities within the territory, ensuring alignment and synergy.
- Market Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, contract processes, and delivery schedules to provide accurate information to customers.
- Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of assigned metal products to optimize sales potential and provide expert advice to customers.
- Inventory Management: Coordinate with management to ensure optimal lead times and inventory levels, identifying aged/obsolete inventory and suggesting dispositions.
- Reporting: Prepare monthly reports on account status, communicating progress and initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
- Policy Adherence: Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures, advising management of challenging customer requests and escalating issues as needed.
- Vendor Coordination: Schedule appointments with vendors and operational staff to minimize production time and ensure successful resolution of claims.
- Quality Control: Provide data and insights to improve quality control, driving continuous improvement and excellence.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, or a related field, or an Associate's degree with equivalent relevant work experience.
- Experience: Previous experience in sales, management, account management, or a relevant field.
