Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our team at Insight Global. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Knowledge: Gain in-depth knowledge of our client's infrastructure products by shadowing current sales and training personnel, performing product demonstrations to current customers, and attending training seminars.
  • Field Sales: Travel within our designated sales territories to gain knowledge of our products, related industries, and responsibilities associated with sales of our products.
  • Customer Engagement: Present product demonstrations to end-users and distributors, and conduct in-house training sessions to ensure our customers have a comprehensive understanding of our products.
  • Training and Development: Prepare for the role of outside Territory Manager by completing training programs and assuming responsibilities associated with sales of our products.
Requirements
  • Previous Sales Experience: Previous sales experience is required, with a proven track record of success in developing and executing sales strategies.
  • Mechanical Aptitude: Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to lift in excess of 40 lbs. to maneuver products during demonstrations.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent outgoing interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers, distributors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Intermediate computer experience with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint programs.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree, preferably with a major in Business, Engineering, or Communications.
  • Travel Requirements: Ability to travel via company truck and/or plane during training and relocate to an open sales territory post completion of the program.
