Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our team at Insight Global. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Knowledge: Gain in-depth knowledge of our client's infrastructure products by shadowing current sales and training personnel, performing product demonstrations to current customers, and attending training seminars.
  • Field Sales: Travel within current Florida Infrastructure sales territories to gain knowledge of Water Division products, related industries, and responsibilities associated with sales of products.
  • Customer Engagement: Present product demonstrations to end-users and distributors, and conduct in-house training sessions to educate customers on our products and services.
  • Business Development: Prepare for the role of outside Territory Manager by developing business plans, identifying new sales opportunities, and building relationships with key stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree, preferably with a major in Business, Engineering, or Communications.
  • Experience: Previous sales experience, mechanical aptitude, and intermediate computer experience with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Skills: Outgoing interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively, and ability to travel via company truck and/or plane during training and relocate to an open sales territory post completion of the program.
  • Certifications: Valid driver's license with no major violations, and ability to lift in excess of 40 lbs. to maneuver products during demonstration.

  • Competitive Compensation: Base hourly rate of $22.50/hour ($46,800 annualized before any OT)
  • Op-Ex Bonus: Annual Op-Ex bonus target of 5%
