Job Summary

Binson's Hospital Supplies Inc. is seeking an experienced Medical Office Coordinator to join our team in Sterling Heights, MI.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage patient information, including insurance details and personal data.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of all necessary authorizations prior to order generation and item dispensing.
  • Coordinate with customers to arrange pick-up times for received products.
  • Maintain organized workspaces and ensure efficient processing of orders.
  • Clean and maintain the customer waiting area to provide a welcoming environment.

Key Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Multitasking and organizational abilities are vital in managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in computer software and data entry is necessary for accurate record-keeping.
  • Prior experience in a medical office setting is highly desirable but not mandatory.
