About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Sales Director to lead our commercial sales strategy for profitable growth in the geographic area. As a front-line sales leader, you will be responsible for executing the sales plan and driving revenue growth through effective sales leadership and team management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire, retain, and develop a high-performing sales team of Account Executives and Account Managers.
  • Establish regional action plans and market strategies to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Set metrics and accountability standards to drive performance towards goals and objectives.
  • Manage and measure sales force performance, providing regular feedback and coaching to sales representatives.
  • Conduct district analytics and market intelligence to inform sales strategies and drive business growth.
  • Marshal and manage resources to solve problems and achieve sales plans.
  • Support key account development and provide input to regional marketing efforts.
Accountabilities and Metrics
  • Development and execution of sales plan.
  • Achievement of quota (retention and growth).
  • Client attrition.
  • Price realization.
  • Selling costs.
  • Sales force attrition.
  • Talent development targets (pipeline, hiring, training).
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry (payors/providers) and general economics of business.
  • Diagnostics/laboratory experience.
  • Leadership experience.
