Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Director to lead our commercial sales strategy for profitable growth in a geographic area. As a front-line sales leader, you will be responsible for executing the sales plan, managing a team of sales representatives, and driving business results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hire, retain, and develop a high-performing sales team of Account Executives and Account Managers.
  • Establish regional sales strategies and action plans to drive business growth.
  • Set metrics and accountability standards to drive sales performance and achieve business objectives.
  • Manage and measure sales force performance, provide feedback, and coach sales talent.
  • Conduct market analytics and intelligence to inform sales strategies.
  • Marshal resources to solve problems and achieve business plans.
  • Support key account development and provide input to regional marketing efforts.

Accountabilities/Metrics:

  • Development and execution of sales plan.
  • Achievement of quota (retention and growth).
  • Client attrition.
  • Price realization.
  • Selling costs.
  • Sales force attrition.
  • Talent development targets (pipeline, hiring, training).

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry, including payors and providers, and general economics of business.
  • Diagnostics/laboratory experience.
  • Leadership experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Solid PC skills, including Outlook, Excel, and other business software.

Education:

Bachelor's degree (required).
