Job Description: DCI is looking for a full-time Bilingual Special Education Office Coordinator to become a vital member of the Student Support Services Team. This position entails delivering administrative support to the Special Education Department to ensure smooth daily operations.

Salary Range: The starting salary is between $39,745 and $47,694, depending on educational background and relevant experience.

Qualifications:

  • Fluency in both Spanish and English, with strong literacy skills in both languages
  • Previous experience in special education or as an administrative assistant in an educational setting
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining confidentiality
  • Proficiency in a Mac environment and skilled in document creation

Responsibilities:

  • Professionally engage with parents and students
  • Assist with translations during meetings
  • Support the Director of Student Support Services with various administrative tasks
  • Provide assistance in Special Education classrooms as required
  • Participate in cultural activities for faculty and students
  • Commit to environmentally sustainable practices
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
