Position Overview

Globalcybers is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Environmental and Civil Engineering Specialist to join our team. This full-time role will involve working on a variety of projects, including civil site development, environmental restoration, and stormwater management. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for consulting and will enjoy a blend of fieldwork and office tasks, ensuring a stimulating work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in both field and office activities, providing a comprehensive understanding of project execution.
  • Conduct on-site construction oversight to guarantee adherence to project specifications.
  • Gain practical experience through tasks such as CAD design, cost analysis, report generation, and stormwater modeling.

Project Involvement:

As a vital member of our team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to various exciting projects, which may include:

  • Designing civil sites for renewable energy initiatives.
  • Remediating port sediments and designing marine bulkheads.
  • Developing stormwater treatment solutions for manufacturing facilities.

Collaboration and Support:

You will work closely with licensed engineers to create engineering designs and specifications, assist in project bidding and contract processes, and help define project proposals, timelines, and budgets. Your role will also involve conducting thorough quality control assessments and liaising with clients and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering.
  • A minimum of two years of consultancy experience.
  • EIT certification is required.
  • Strong interest in consulting on projects related to site development, environmental remediation, and stormwater systems.
  • Exceptional technical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in report writing.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD design software, especially Civil 3D.
  • Willingness to travel for regional projects as needed.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks and navigate challenging environments.
  • Strong teamwork capabilities, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
