About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Account Specialist II to join our Commercial Risk Business team at Aon. As an Account Specialist II, you will play a critical role in assisting Account Executives and Associate Account Executives on assigned accounts, running key processes that serve clients and undertaking client-facing and internal activities related to these processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Account Executives and Associate Account Executives on assigned accounts, running key processes that serve clients and undertaking client-facing and internal activities related to these processes.
  • Maintain regular contact with clients, using a detailed approach to ensure effective communication and rapport.
  • Perform account servicing functions, including miscellaneous office duties in support of account servicing.
  • Manage client open items lists and respond to client ad-hoc requests.
  • Actively support and monitor the renewal process.
  • Coordinate activities with Aon Client Services (ACS) to ensure key processes are performed effectively.
  • Collaborate with Aon accounting team on client invoicing and collections.
  • Receive and run routine and sophisticated coverage inquiries and endorsement requests.
  • Serve as key client liaison for items such as certificates, auto IDs, location additions, invoices, WC posting notices, allocations, premium finance agreements, summaries of insurance, and policy transmittals.
  • Understand best practices and leverage available resources, including centers of excellence (COEs) and ACS.
Requirements
  • Commercial insurance experience preferred.
  • Associate's degree preferred or equivalent years of industry experience.
  • Property & Casualty Insurance License preferred, or to be acquired within 120 days of start date.
