Position Summary
The Technical Service Specialist II plays a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of our medical devices. This position involves extensive travel within the designated service area, providing essential support to our clients and maintaining the highest standards of service.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute installation, maintenance, and repair of medical equipment with precision and expertise.
- Maintain a low repeat service call rate, demonstrating proficiency in laser technology.
- Take initiative in managing client accounts, including re-engaging inactive accounts to foster new service opportunities.
- Oversee daily logistical operations and complete assigned departmental tasks efficiently.
- Ensure personal inventory accuracy with minimal variance.
- Deliver exceptional field support for Candela equipment, including installations, repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
- Uphold a high standard of customer interaction and service excellence.
- Focus on detailed service reporting and communication with dispatch, management, and clients.
- Availability for weekend work to support events and urgent customer needs.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in a technical service role.
- An Associate's degree in electronics or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in biomedical or laser technology is advantageous.
- Ability to work collaboratively and interpret technical schematics effectively.
