Technical Program Manager V

BCforward is seeking a highly motivated Technical Program Manager V to lead complex programs that require cross-functional collaboration and interdependencies across multiple projects and activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver programs within scope, quality, time, and budget constraints, managing multiple moderate-probability, moderate-impact risk factors.
  • Develop program-level strategic plans, interact with executive-level management, resolve complex issues, and possess excellent communication and team-building skills.
  • Manage internal exempt and matrixed employees and contractors to deliver systems and enhancements that meet specified requirements.
  • Oversight of project scope definition, requirements gathering, time estimating, project schedule development, project budget management, project status reporting, issue and risk management, contingency planning, customer interaction, and communications across multiple organizational levels.
Must-Have Skills:
  • Strong bias for action, organization, and prioritization to maintain schedules and remove friction.
  • Desire to learn and dive into details, gather data, and make informed decisions with conviction.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Interest and/or experience with optics, displays, hardware.
  • Interest and/or experience with AI.
  • Familiarity with LEAN (MVP), rapid prototyping methodologies.
