Job Title: Sr. Technical Program Manager

Amazon Logistics is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Technical Program Manager to join our Planning Product Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for advancing the level of sophistication and critical thought around planning technologies to support our growing Last Mile business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work directly with software engineering, research science, and product teams to drive new ideas and improvements in Last Mile labor and capacity planning tools.
  • Improve existing tools and create new ones critical to labor and capacity planning at Amazon.
  • Use technical and business acumen to work with stakeholders to identify, define, and deliver scalable solutions that enable Amazon's Last Mile operations to deliver for our customers.
  • Lead the development of product roadmaps, launch planning, and instill a culture of best-in-class development principles for our product managers and software development partners.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of technical program management experience working directly with software engineering teams.
  • 5+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience.
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
  • 3+ years of software development experience.
  • 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience.
  • Experience managing projects across cross-functional teams, building sustainable processes, and coordinating release schedules.
  • Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.
