About the Role

Bark & Co is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our retention efforts and drive subscriber happiness. As Director of Retention, you will be responsible for analyzing customer behavior, developing strategies to improve retention, and advocating for the customer across all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Results: Own subscriber retention, a critical metric for the business, and be accountable for monthly retention goals.
  • Roadmap: Collaborate with partners to set the roadmap for improving subscriber retention and happiness.
  • Analyze: Highlight risks and opportunities to retention goals, utilizing a range of tools to ensure an accurate picture of subscriber experience.
  • Educate: Be an advocate for our customers, ensuring departments understand how their strategy impacts dog happiness.
  • Forecast: Work with finance, data, and planning teams to guide monthly retention forecast and ensure planning against the latest view of subscriber behavior.
Requirements
  • 8-10 years of experience in direct-to-consumer space, with a preference for subscription-based models.
  • Significant experience analyzing customer behavior to improve satisfaction and drive business results.
  • Familiarity with financial and subscription modeling.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
