Position Summary:

The Culinary Operations Leader plays a crucial role in the kitchen, assisting in the management of all culinary functions within the establishment.

Position Specifications:

  • Expected Compensation: $23.76 per hour
  • Availability: Full-Time
  • Experience Level: Lead

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the executive chef in daily restaurant operations.
  • Tasks include menu creation, inventory management, training culinary students, and staff scheduling.
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations and staff in alignment with established culinary standards.
  • Manage budgetary considerations and food cost control.
  • Supervise kitchen personnel and facilitate their development.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment and lead by example.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited culinary program or ACF apprenticeship, or possess 5 years of supervisory culinary experience in a hospitality setting.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally; must be capable of writing and producing menus.
  • Culinary degree is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Ability to work independently and contribute positively to a productive work atmosphere.
  • Flexible schedule, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Resume submission is required.

The anticipated pay range is $23.76 per hour. This range reflects the expected compensation for this role, with individual decisions based on various factors.
