Job Title: Product Engineer Powertrain Specialist

Job Summary:

G-TECH Services is seeking a highly skilled Product Engineer Powertrain Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and releasing powertrain components for future performance vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and release powertrain components for future performance vehicles, requiring a minimum of 6 years' experience with an intimate understanding of powertrain design, release, and systems engineering.
  • Provide in-person support for testing, prototype builds, and launch builds of upcoming performance vehicles at assembly plants and test facilities.
  • Interface and lead discussions daily with other D&R/systems engineers, attribute teams, suppliers, and management to ensure parts comply with required specifications and critical decisions are made efficiently.
  • Deliver powertrain systems engineering and other powertrain components that meet program targets for quality, function, cost, weight, and timing.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in Powertrain component Design and Release.
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills.
  • 6+ years of experience with powertrain systems engineer, including function, validation, problem-solving, etc.
  • Experience/competency in PD systems and processes: WERS, FEDEBOM, FEDEDVP, GPDS, AIMS, Teamcenter, CATIA, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with program management tool Microsoft Project to develop Gantt Charts for program timeline, DV-PV, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Preferred experience with Diagnostic Engineering Tools/PT Diag using MyCanic FD, CANAlyzer, ATI Vision, etc. to evaluate and analyze vehicle software issues.

Education:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
  • Engineering master's in automotive systems or equivalent preferred.
