  • Oversee critical supplier processes to enhance Supplier Quality Reject (QR) performance metrics.
  • Engage in Quality Review sessions and participate in sub-system PRT (Powertrain Variability Reduction Team) meetings, focusing on resolving external supplier process warranty issues.
  • Support QR protocols by managing concern categorization, assessing threshold QRs, and facilitating QR dispute resolutions. Collaborate with the Incoming Quality (IQ) team to address non-responsive suppliers and ensure accurate QR/PPM (Parts Per Million) data.

Key Responsibilities:
In this position, you will...

  • Coordinate the part quality confirmation process for suppliers experiencing repeated containment failures.
  • Lead initiatives for special-cause supplier processes related to 3MIS and 0MIS BSAQ (Balanced Single Agenda for Quality) projects.
  • Align with PRT on Supplier Process (SP) BSAQ challenges to meet Glidepath targets.
  • Provide timely notifications and engage the STA Site team regarding potential Stop Shipments linked to supplier processes.
  • Assist in managing supplier Stop Ship issues and support the Site STA team with tracking suspect materials and Vehicles On-Hold.
  • Collaborate with Stop Ship stakeholders to ensure accurate root cause analysis for Prevent Action Closure (PAC) reporting.
  • Monitor daily production reports (DPR) and alert STA management to issues needing Site STA team intervention.
  • Act as the supplier representative and liaison between STA and manufacturing management, supporting Daily Plant Quality Meetings (PIC Room) to report on supplier process warranty containment, participating in PRT forums, and leading supplier preparations for PQRs (Powertrain Quality Review).
